Accessibility Statement

Infinity Behavioral Health is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. Care should not be harder to reach because of how you access the web.

Our standard

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (external site) define requirements for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Our goal is for this website to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the level referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act for healthcare providers.

"Partially conformant" means some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard. We are working to close those gaps and will update this page as we do.

What we've done

This site was designed with accessibility as a requirement, not an afterthought. Measures include:

  • Keyboard access. Every link, button, menu, form field, and dropdown can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, in a logical order, with a visible focus ring.
  • Color contrast. Body text meets at least a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background; headline text meets at least 3:1. Color is never the only way information is conveyed.
  • Readable text. Body copy is never smaller than 16px, resizes with your browser settings up to 200%, and reflows on small screens without horizontal scrolling.
  • Touch targets. Buttons and controls are at least 44 by 44 pixels, and nothing depends on hovering with a mouse.
  • Structure and labels. Pages use semantic headings, landmarks, and labelled navigation so screen readers can move through them. Images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Forms. Every field has a visible label. Errors are described in text next to the field, not by color alone, and success is confirmed in plain language.
  • Motion. There is no auto-playing video, flashing content, or animation that cannot be paused. Decorative motion respects your "reduce motion" system setting.
  • Plain language. We write for people who are stressed, tired, or helping someone else, and avoid jargon wherever we can.

Compatibility

This website is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on desktop and mobile, and with common assistive technologies including VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, TalkBack, and browser zoom or screen magnification.

It is not designed for browsers more than a few major versions old. Some third-party services we link to, such as the patient portal, are run by other companies and have their own accessibility statements.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Issues we are aware of:

  • Downloadable documents. Some forms and PDFs may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will provide the information in another format.
  • Third-party links. External support organizations and articles we link to are outside our control.
  • Audit pending. A full independent accessibility audit has not yet been completed. This statement will be updated with its findings.

Accessibility at your visit

Accessibility doesn't stop at the website. If you need an accommodation for an in-person or virtual appointment, such as a sign language interpreter, materials in large print, extra time, or help joining a video visit, tell us when you request your appointment and we will make arrangements.
